Trapped
« on: 21, November,2009, 22:35 »
I have a mate with an S reg strange rover DSE, the other night he couldn't open the drivers door from the inside, I took the escutcheon off today and could see that the wire had came off the hook bit that sticks in the handle pull, anyone know how to get the door card off without busting half of the clips that hold it on ? and anyone now where the best place to get a replacement wire is ?

same as all the others, unscrew everything bolted to the door, grab handle, map bins, door latch cover, window winder handle (if fitted) the gently price the door card off with a flat wide blade screwdriver

start at the bottom of the door work your way round and up the last bit round the window often requires you to lift the card upwards

Might be worth getting a couple eh. Job looks easy enough just a bit worried about busting the clips when I take the door card off
